The wine is made, only in the best vintages, from a selection of Verdicchio grapes of the “Fogliano” vineyard.
The exposure of the vineyard along with the vocation of the land allow to have a good balance between vegetation and production and then grapes of great concentration.
Senex is a wine of great structure and it is therefore suitable for long ageing.
The DOCG denomination impose a period of at least 18 months from the harvest before the wine can be released in the market. Our choice goes far beyond the denomination indications because our project on this wine is to show the great longevity that such a selection of Verdicchio can have.
